A Fresno-area native, Dr. Elledge chose ophthalmology for the chance to restore vision and relieve discomfort. His path took him from Miami to Loma Linda to Orange County, working alongside exceptional mentors and performing thousands of complex surgeries.
Training and experience
After residency at South Miami Eye Institute, he completed a cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery fellowship at Loma Linda, later joining their faculty as an attending cornea specialist. He has performed more than 1,000 ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and complex trauma repair.
Beyond the clinic
Outside of work he enjoys traveling, surfing, home-renovation projects, origami, and time with his daughter and family, and he values mentoring students who share his love of lifelong learning.
