Sanket S. Shah, MD

Background

Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from Northwestern on a full merit scholarship, then trained in ophthalmology at UT Houston and the University of Louisville, where he served as Chief Resident. He joined InSight Vision Center in 2023 and is fluent in Spanish.

Scope of practice

He practices comprehensive ophthalmology, treating corneal disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, thyroid eye disease, and more, and also performs refractive lens exchange, laser vision correction, eyelid procedures, and Botox.

Thyroid eye disease

Dr. Shah is one of Fresno’s only Tepezza specialists. Patients with thyroid disease experiencing bulging, red, or dry eyes or blurry vision can see him to learn whether they might benefit from this treatment.
